THEFT OF INDUSTRIAL OVEN

Background
A client reported that someone stole his industrial oven. The thief did not know that a unit was secured in it. He also reported that someone stole a large concrete mixer, crusher and baths.
He suspected that the equipment had been taken to the same place. His request was for an agent to recover all his equipment.
Event
A recovery team was dispatched to the location. The agents notified the control room that they were in the area but were not getting a strong enough signal from the unit. The control room
then activated Time in Advance which narrows down the search area.
They tracked the signal to a building approximately 1km from the tower. While doing this and before entering the building, they contacted the SAPS and the client. While waiting for the SAPS, the agents reported that they were at a house near the building.
This is where they found building waste, equipment and people inside.
On entering, they found the unit in part of the oven. Statements were taken and arrests were made.

The unit, oven and other equipment were found. Value approximately R180,000
